The Institute for Adult Learning (IAL), an automomus institute within Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), supports professionalisation of Continuing Education and Training (CET) and the co-creation of an effective, innovative and responsive CET system.

IAL is committed to designing and delivering quality programmes that encourage and build the required competencies centred on evidence-informed learning design principles, tapping on learning technologies, and focused on workplace relevance.

IAL develops and builds capabilities of adult education professionals to design effective learning solutions that help enterprises meet
business goals. The institute also advocates and enables learning innovation to bring adult learning to greater heights in this technological
age.

Through rigorous, relevant research work, IAL leads the way in developing evidence-informed CET and best practices. The research informs
and inspires thought leadership and shapes national CET policies.
