Over the years, the threat of fake news and online misinformation has evolved in their forms and impact on society, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this talk, you will be taught the necessary knowledge and skills to safeguard yourself against fake news. You will recognise the characteristics and impact of fake news on Singapore and the world; combat the spread of fake news using the National Library’s S.U.R.E.
