Singapore Institute of Retail Studies
The Singapore Institute of Retail Studies (SIRS) is a Continuing Education & Training (CET) institute of Nanyang Polytechnic. SIRS is the first CET centre set up in January 2006 as a collaboration between the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP). SIRS has been conferred the National CET Institute (NCI) status – the pinnacle status for CET centres, since January 2011.
The primary mission of SIRS is to provide quality and market driven training solutions through the national Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) programmes to enhance the skills and employability of the Retail and Service workforce in Singapore.
ACHIEVEMENTS @ SIRS
As a leader in retail & service training, SIRS has trained close to 70,000 individuals in the nationally recognised Retail, Service Excellence & Business Management WSQ programmes, as well as executive programmes, master classes & workshops. SIRS is also one of WDA’s pioneer and leading approved training providers for the Certified Service Professional (CSP) programme and exclusive training provider of the Retail Certified Service Professional (RCSP) programme. With its all-inclusive approach and flexible training models, SIRS has successfully engaged and trained the workforce of many established as well as small & medium organisations alike.

TRAINING FACILITIES @ SIRS
Located conveniently at Paya Lebar Central, SIRS’ campus is equipped with training labs, simulated rooms and well furnished classrooms to provide participants with practical training in a conducive environment. Training may also be conducted at client’s premises or suitable off site facilities.
