Job title: Project Director (Solution Architect) (2-year contract)

 

Responsibilities:

A Project Director / Solution Architect will function as prime representative to oversee and manage Partners/vendors in ensuring technology solutions meet business and policies requirement; and to fulfil the overall strategic vision of the project. 

 

You will lead a team and assume the following responsibilities in:

Project Management : 

  • Manage and ensure the project and its milestones are delivered on-time and fit for purpose.
  • Manage resource and allocation, including 3rd parties for project implementation.
  • Manage the relationship with the Partner and all stakeholders
  • Ensure risks are minimised, and to report and escalate to management where necessary.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure project implementation methodology adhered to  

 

Solution Architecting : 

  • Provide technical expertise and contribute to establishing the direction for the IT architecture, standards, design and implementation approaches for the internal and external systems
  • Create, evaluate and implement plans and design proposals for high impact IT solutions 
  • Translate business requirements, including application resiliency requirements, into application architectural specifications 
  • Evaluate and recommend the use of leading-edge technologies and methods, considering factors, such as their long-term effectiveness (service delivery and cost), practicality, technical limitations and criticality 
  • Design the architecture blueprint of the organisation's business, information and ICT assets, by using multiple architectural models. 
  • Perform code reviews and make recommendations for code changes
  • Review specifications and designs to ensure compliance with security and IT policies
  • Collaborate with Partner development staff to resolve technical challenges
  • Help analyse and determine performance tuning and scalability improvements of code and queries
  • Provide architecture and technical support during production incidents
  • Drive knowledge sharing initiatives to promote technical proficiency across all teams
  • Manage collaboration across technical design and implementation teams for cross team technical design and implementation        

 

Requirements:

  • 15 years of experience in managing large / very-large scale IT project implementation of which 8 years are in design / implementation / consulting experience with distributed application, and with a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience as a technical lead and system 
  • Effective and proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven skills in project management and development procedures
  • Possess software development background and knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Experience in designing and implementing .Net and/or J2EE applications in an enterprise setting
  • Good understanding of Server-side, .Net and/or Java development, Service Oriented Architectures, web services, RESTful API and public web sites / e-services development. Full Stack development experience and knowledge is a must
  • Strong knowledge of security and infrastructure designs and implementations
  • Able to independently analyse and develop comprehensive solutions 
  • Strong writing, presentation and stakeholder management skills 
  • Team player with strong organisation and people management skills

Job title : Manager / Senior Manager, Network Infrastructure & Security

Division : Project Management, LLI Pte Ltd

 

Responsibilities : 

 

The role requires to coordinate and work with the Partner’s ICT systems and Network team to manage the network infrastructure to ensure it is highly available, secure and fit-for-purpose.

You will be part of a team responsible for:

 

Management of ICT Infrastructure and Services :

  • Ensure incidents are resolved within the service level agreement and should avoid having re-occurance of incidents.
  • Ensure service requests are closed within agreed timelines.
  • Develop guidelines, processes and procedures to enhance ICT Infrastructure resilency and service availability.
  • Provide periodic ICT Infrastructure Health status reports.

 

Management of ICT Infrastructure Security and Compliance : 

  •  Conduct periodic review on ICT Infrastructure logs; privileged accounts and access rights to ensure no unauthorised access, system changes nor suspicious activities.
  • Ensure security patches on ICT Infrastructure are timely updated in accordance to industries best practices.
  • Support IT audit activities when required.

  • Manage and support ad-hoc security scans, patches and other security measures when required.
  • Undertake and carry out ad hoc assignments and tasks arises from projects or day-to-day operation.

 

Requirements : 

 

  • The candidate should have tertiary qualification preferably with at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
  • The candidate must be able to work under time pressure while keeping an objective within sight
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Professional related certifications such as ITIL and MCP will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of IT security and infrastructure designs.
  • Able to manage project risks in a timely manner to ensure impact is mitigated.

Job Title : Senior Manager/ Manager 

Division : Partnership and Programmes, LLI Pte Ltd

 

Responsibilities : 

 

The role will report to the Team Lead to develop and implement marketing and partnership strategies to support the vision of the Lifelong Learning Council (LLC) in creating a society embracing lifelong learning as a way of life.  You will also be responsible for establishing strategic partnerships to create a vibrant campus and learning community.   

The primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Conceptualise and drive strategies to develop new partnerships and leverage existing partnership network to promote lifelong learning.  This includes planning, conceptualising and managing initiatives, programmes and content to promote lifelong learning.  
  • Work with SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (SSG) to tap on MySkillsFuture portal to enable accessibility of learning opportunities, encouragement of formation of learning circles and communities of learning as part of the effort to build a supportive lifelong learning environment in Singapore.
  • Collaborate with other LLI teams to capitalize and synergise on their efforts towards promoting lifelong learning activities and events. This also includes other SSG/LLI units such as the World Skills Office (WSO), SkillsFuture Engage Office (SFEO).
  • Support the Events and Marketing team in the development of effective marketing and outreach strategies to support the efforts of partner engagements to facilitate lifelong learning enculturation and mind-set change among the general populace.
  • Any other responsibilities deemed important to support the overall efforts to promote lifelong learning.

 

Requirements : 

 

  • Tertiary qualifications
  • Preferably with at least 3 years of work experience in the public sector or similar with some experience in areas such as partnership engagement, business development, planning.
