What is Skills and Training Advisory?

Skills & Training Advisory (STA) is a new service provided by SkillsFuture Singapore to guide Singaporeans and Permanent Residents in identifying skills and training needs to support your growth and development at various stages of your careers, and also recommends suitable courses and programmes that caters to your needs.

How can you benefit from Skills and Training Advisory?

Speak with our Skills Ambassadors for a free 30 to 45 minute 1-to-1 personalised consultation to identify:

  • Skills and training needs to achieve your career goal
  • Skills required to support your career transition or progression
  • Suitable skills and training courses and course providers that cater to your needs
  • The various assistance schemes to support your skills upgrading efforts

SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP)

The SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP) supports mid-career individuals in acquiring industry-relevant skills to improve employability and pivot to new sectors or job roles.

This train-and-place programme is available on a part-time or full-time format, ranging from three to 12 months.

The SCTP will be delivered by Continuing Education and Training (CET) Centres and is supported with employment facilitation services.

The SCTP courses will be progressively rolled out from April 2022 to around 200 courses by 2025.
